About AIRmotion Lab
The AIRmotion Lab, led by Prof. Hoang-Vu Phan at the University of Nevada, Reno aims to study and develop the next generation of drones capable of closely mimicking the locomotion of birds and insects, with improved energy efficiency, enhanced environmental adaptability, and robust navigation in cluttered and dynamic spaces. These bio-informed platforms advance both our understanding of natural biomechanics and the design of engineered systems, enabling new applications across diverse fields.
